Mundus vult decipi: Ergo decipiatur, 2019 / Installation with binaural sounds and found objects: plastic fish boxes, ropes, colored modelling clay, aquarium ornamentation, metal bowls, iron keys, fishing nets, dried mussels, lava stones, ceramic figures, silicone tubes, seaweeds and water pumps... Our fountains, filled with the waters of the "Offa Quelle", a spring located on the beach of Arnis, are inspired by Franz Anton Mesmer’s healing basins. These were used to cure his patients by using a system of metal pipes and tubs where magnetised water was passed around the affected body parts.
